The new Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund is making one million dollars in subsidies available to assist with registration fees for Canadian youth.

100% of the funds donated to your local Jumpstart chapter stay in your community, giving kids aged 4-18 equal access to sports and physical activity.

Together with our network of 18 local chapters, KidSport Ontario provides grants to help cover the costs of enrolment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Ontario can play a season of sport.

Respect In Sport Parent Program

The Mattawa Minor Hockey Association is committed to fostering a safe and fun hockey environment for all participants. In support of this, it is required that at least one parent of each player registered in minor hockey take the Respect in Sport Program for Parents. The program is a proactive, educational program that empowers parents with the tools to ensure that the games are enjoyable and respectful for the parents, the players and all other participants in the game.

Jumpstart

Jumpstart is a national charity with a commitment to local communities. Canadian Tire Corporation recognized that organized sports connect kids to their communities and makes sure that money raised stays where it is donated.

Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play is essential for their growth and development, which is why Jumpstart funds a variety of different sports and activities all with the goal of giving all kids the chance to discover their passion.
